It’s situated in city the center of Schiedam and sandwiched between the historical canals “Nieuwe haven” and “Lange haven”. Close to historical center of Schiedam with its beautiful historical monuments windmills and distilleries.

The apartment located in the Walvisbuurt (Whale neighborhood). Close by you can take lovely walks along the canals, parks and Maasboulevard along the river Maas.

The apartment is not far from Schiedam Central Station, about 10 minutes by bike or public transport. Here you can take the train, bus or metro to Rotterdam, The Hague or the harbour and Europoort.

Shops and restaurants are all on walking distance. We can recommend Grand cafe Babbels and Restaurant 1714 Drinks & Bites. Both just 2 min walk away. In the center are many fun things to visit like theaters, museums, canal boat, Glow Golf, movie theater, play hall, wind mills, Basilica of Saint Liduina and Our Lady Rosary. Rotterdam is just a stone throw away. Here can find all the things you want from a metropol.

We have renovated, furnished and decorated the whole apartment in June 2020. It comes with genuine oak wood floor boards, a modern kitchen, semi-renovated toilet and bathroom. All the walls and ceilings are re-plastered and painted.
We have created a nice homely character with nice decoration and paintings.

On the ground floor you find a very light living room with big windows / sliding doors facing the sunny terrace. On the ground floor you can also find a toilet and a the fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher.
On the first floor you will find the landing with a wardrobe, a dryer and a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower/bath  and houses the second toilet. Further more on the 1st floor 2 bedrooms, one of which has a comfortable box spring double bed.

In front of the house there is a private terrace facing West where you can enjoy the sun during the afternoon and evening. The communal out side area is very save and secure.

With the apartment comes a private parking space in the secure garage underneath the building.

There’s also a big shared garden with access to the water named “Nieuwe haven / New harbour”. If you ask politely one of the neighbors might lend you a small boat to glide through the canals on hot summer days. You can also hire one off course.
